Vince Peisley was a mineral collector from Brahma Lodge, South Australia. Vince passed away in 2021. He has the phosphate mineral, peisleyite, named after him.
Vince used to set up at places like the Palmer Show in South Australia each year. He always had a varied selection of minerals, mostly collected by him, from localities in South Australia, western Victoria, and Broken Hill. Many of his “stock” specimens were acquired by Leon Schmidt, and can still be purchased at various mineral shows.
